You may have spent your entire free time playing online multiplayer action for the past few years, but it’s never been more exciting than in GTA 5. The open-world game set in New York City has become one of the most popular and successful games on digital platforms alike with its full-scale combat, recruitments, side questing, and online play.
As such, Rockstar Games has released an all-new installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise with a modern spin on the action. In this review, we’ll discuss some things you need to know about GTA 5 before you hit up the store. Read on to know more about what you can expect from this new game update! Is This The Last GTA?
With GTA 5 coming out this fall as a part of a massive console release phase, many are wondering if this is the last installment in the series. Thankfully not — at least not yet. The first part of our review will take you through everything that’s changed since Rockstar announced its last full-fledged Grand Theft Auto title.
From there, we’ll tackle everything new about the latest game update and how it compares to the previous ones. Keep reading for everything you need to know!
New Gameplay Features
New and improved city editor: When developers first realized the potential for a new city editor, they jumped straight into the action. The original city builder from Grand Theft Auto IV has been brought back to its full function as an entirely new tool for Rockstar’s fans. Create your city, add all of your favorite features, and upload your guides, photos and videos to the service.
Paintable cityscape: When it comes to aesthetic appeal, the original city was nothing short of phenomenal. Though the cityscape has been redesigned from the ground up, its visual appeal is still as strong as ever. Now, with the addition of the city editor, you can create your very own painting environment to bring your city back to life.
New City Walkthrough: The adage “One visit and you’re addicted” applies here as well — as much as one can be with all the new features that have been added to the game. The new city walkthrough allows you to step into the shoes of your favorite characters and talk to them about where they live, what they do and what they want.
New & Improved Missions
More Communication between Characters: One of the most requested features in the player base is for Grand Theft Auto 5 to include more communication between the main characters. The chatting feature has been very much in evidence in the past — as well as in other games in the series — but it’s not something that you see in the new game.
Multi-window navigation: Another feature that’s been added to the game, but that’s only now getting a dedicated place in the review. You can now schedule your daily or weekly tasks and even set up challenges for yourself. What’s even more amazing is that these can be done from the comfort of your own home — which is never something you’ve experienced before!
A Better Online Play
Cross-Play: CPU and DPC support: This one might shock you — but if you enable the cross-play option enabled in the latest game update, you can play the single-player and online through your buddy system. You can even invite other players to play online with you, and share your progress with them.
This means you don’t even have to take the time to load a single-player game. Multi-player leaderboards: Rounding out the new feature is the ability to track your performance in multiplayer games. These are very helpful for those who need to see how far they can make it in both games at the same time.
A Strong Storyline
New and Improved characters: The series has always been very protective of its main characters. This year, through the addition of new characters, the writers and artists have been allowed to show us a new side to George and Michael.
More Genres: Once again, the writers have managed to tell a compelling story through the characters that populate GTA 5. From the sexy sportswoman who helps George set up his first car to the laidback figure he meets in a bar, you’re constantly reminded of your favorite characters’ personalities.
More Commuting Options: There are many new and exciting things to do in New York City this year — but you won’t want to be stuck in the cold. There are many different places to commute to, and you can set up your unique schedule for when you want to get there.
The world of Grand Theft Auto is one of the most recognizable and recognizable online games of all time. With the latest release of Grand Theft Auto 5, we’re once again treated to an open-world action game that takes place in New York City. As with every update, the biggest news is the addition of new content and features, which are only available in the game update. In this instance, you’ll be able to take part in more types of content and have the opportunity to meet new characters and earn Achievement and06points. This update is a great time to get involved with the Los Benzos and get behind the wheel of one of the most iconic cars in history.
